Host, Amateur Night at the Apollo. Capone is known around the world as the Gangster of Comedy. Named after the original King of Crime, this Bronx born native hustled his way onto the entertainment scene in 1992. It’s been fireworks ever since.
Capone is gifted with a comedic flair that appeals to people from all around the world. His quick-wit and style is what makes Amateur Night at the Apollo so much fun.
He has shared the stage with comedians such as Michael Epps, Drew Frasier, Talent, Rob Stapleton, Gerald Kelly, Tracey Morgan and many other heroes of comedy. Capone’s standup credits include the Uptown Comedy Club, Boston Comedy Club and Caroline’s Comedy Club in New York.
“My jokes are about personal relationships, children, society, work and ethnicity” says Capone. “Through comedy, I try to help the audience see that after any dark tunnel, there’s always light.”
